Governor McAuliffe Announces Administration Appointments
Governor Terry McAuliffe announced additional appointments to his administration today. The appointees will join McAuliffe’s administration focused on finding common ground with members of both parties on issues that will build a new Virginia economy and create more jobs across the Commonwealth.

Cassidy Rasnick, Assistant Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry
Cassidy Rasnick most recently served as Director of Member Services for the Virginia Manufacturers Association and the Virginia Craft Brewers Guild. Prior to that, Cassidy spent more than five years working for U.S. Senator Mark Warner in number of posts, including serving as the Senator’s statewide scheduler. A native of Botetourt County, Cassidy is a graduate of James Madison University, where she received a B.A. in English and a B.A. in Political Science, and the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership Political Leaders Program at the University of Virginia.
