Governor McAuliffe Announces Administration Appointments
Governor Terry McAuliffe announced additional appointments to his Administration today. The appointees will join McAuliffe’s Administration focused on finding common ground with members of both parties on issues that will build a new Virginia economy and create more jobs across the Commonwealth.
Office of the Governor
Ellen Nicholas, Special Assistant for Constituent Services
Ellen Nicholas has been appointed to the position of Special Assistant for Constituent Services in the Office of the Governor. Prior to her appointment, Ellen served as the Director of Scheduling and Constituent Relations in the Office of the Lieutenant Governor. Ellen also was previously a Freelance Writer for the National Association of Homebuilders, as well as the News Editor for The Guilfordian. Ellen graduated with a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Guilford College.
Secretariat of Commerce and Trade
Charlotte Gomer, Executive Assistant
Charlotte Gomer has been appointed to the position of Executive Assistant to the Secretary of Commerce and Trade. Prior to this appointment, Charlotte served as the Capital Campaign Manager at the Virginia Capitol Foundation. Charlotte is a native of Richmond and graduated with a Bachelor’s Of Arts in History from Denison University.
