Governor McAuliffe Announces Administration Appointments
RICHMOND – Governor Terry McAuliffe announced additional appointments to his Administration today. The appointees will join McAuliffe’s Administration focused on finding common ground with members of both parties on issues that will build a new Virginia economy and create more jobs across the Commonwealth.

Irma Palmer, Director of Constituent Services
Irma L. Palmer previously served as Governor McAuliffe’s Traveling Press Secretary. She is a double alumna of the University of Virginia with a Master of Public Policy and Bachelor of Arts in English. Prior to graduate school, Irma was U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu’s Press Secretary on the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship (SBC). She previously worked as SBC’s Deputy Press Secretary and U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and the U.S. Senate Democratic Policy and Communications Committee’s Press Assistant.
